Bi Bi Bi

I dream that my new keyboard is broken and key are missing. While out buying a new one I meet two young men, not even twenty, and give them comic book recommendations. They carry my bags home, we get inside my building: it has stores and bars and I can’t find my way in. This is my usual signal indicating that I’m dreaming, since I now know there are no consequences I have sex with the hottest of the two guys.

I go back out, still wanting to buy a keyboard at the computer store. The building hasn’t changed and that means I’m still dreaming. I know what to do, I prowl the streets finding someone to have sex with, and this time I pick a blonde older woman in a red dress.

All These Pop Culture Nods Are Gonna Fly Over Someone’s Heads I just Know

I dream that I’m watching Lindsay Ellis doing a Glee tribute episode. She’s the main character on Adventure Time, she and her fuzzy animal sidekick arrive on postapocalyptic Earth, mostly destroyed but still functional. She stops at a bar, drinks a coke, and that’s when she finds some old VHS tapes with Glee episodes! Lindsay’s gonna sing now, I can feel it.

I dream that I’m running because I’m late for Uni. A girl stops me inside the subway and asks me if my name is [insert my real name here]. Yes, why? I ask. My old glasses shop called her because she happens to have my same last name, and what do you know, she also just happened to walk across me!

She hands me her phone.

Hello?

I say.

How long have you had your glasses?

a male voice asks.

Uhh, about two years?

It’s just a guess. And it’s too late when I realize my guess was wrong.

Everybody Is Mad At Her Again Because She Yelled At Mom

I dream that my sister is back home. She is small, almost a child, and sickly. She apologizes for everything and asks if we can share a room again. I say no, no, no, and tell her the truth: I simply cannot live with anyone. I need to be alone.

I dream that I’m at the supermarket buying just a couple things. I notice my receipt’s wrong, I paid for extra stuff − I actually paid for some other lady’s groceries! There must be an issue with my credit card, the cashier explain. I’m so creeped out I want to throw the card into the nearest bin. To calm me, the cashier gives me four bucks from her personal wallet.

Not Many Plays In This Backwards Town

I dream that I’m going to the theater to watch a play about Pinocchio, and I’m very disappointed to find out it’s not a live show but a recording on a big screen.

It’s a small theater, and very few people are allowed in because of social distancing. The screen is tiny and I’m sitting on the side, I can barely see anything. A usher demands I empty my tote bag, I’m really embarrassed: it’s full of tissues and there is a rotten orange that I quickly kick under the seat in front of me.

But Probably Manchester

I dream that I have to draw some comic book panels for art class. They are about a great evil wizard named Winchester or Manchester, I can’t remember. In my head he looks like the villain from the Swan Princess cartoon, and I draw him accordingly. Yoda and Darth Vader are also in the comic.

In Some Dreams Sis And I Go Along Perfectly Fine, And Then There’s This Other Kind

I dream that my sister is back home, again. With a wicked smile, she hints that she’s reading this blog, this carefully anonymous dream journal of mine. I’m so, so angry and upset. I shove her to the ground and choke her with all my might. It takes a moment, but my parents realize she can’t breathe and separate us. Not done, I run to the bathroom, grab a pair of scissors and cut all her long, auburn hair. I know this is the end, our relationship will never recover from this.

My Notes Are Truly Confusing For This One

I dream that I’m reading a manga about a girl with superpowers who has sex with a brawny guy, yet claims she’s gay. She joins a group of boys who are studying superpowers, I’m so hyped for when they discover her real identity!

Then somehow she’s gonna get hanged. All her sisters are watching, they’re wearing regency clothes, and they don’t look like they’re gonna help her. Two doctors show up and ask to have the girl instead, for science. I’m sure they’re gonna save her… my alarm rings.
