I dream that the yellow building opposite my window got demolished, because a murder happened inside it? I have slept through the whole thing, when I wake up and look out the window I’m really confused. In place of the building there’s a small garden, dark and overgrown, with a tall children’s slide in one corner

She Was Using The Balloon Like A Pastry Bag
I dream that my old schoolmate L. and her little brother are looking for an apartment to rent. I say there’s one available in my building, next door to mine. The boy asks what’s the building like, I say it’s wonderful, and complicated like a maze, and it has bars and stores, and a woman baking cakes and decorating them with a pink balloon.
The building is like a giant hotel on top of a mountain. We step on the mat at the base of the mountain and are teleported into the main hall. It takes me a while to find my bearings and the right staircase to the third floor. Unfortunately the apartment is already occupied and there’s a warming party underway. My own apartment also seem to be missing, I’m confused for a while before remembering we were moved to an apartment that looks exactly the same in our twin building (it def. happened in a previous dream) while the main one was flew on top of a mountain by a squad of helicopters and turned into a hotel/casino.
It’s All Blurry And Confused This Morning
I dream that I’m watching a Dark episode, but also living it, jumping up and down the timeline. I go back home and study the mailboxes and the gate to figure out what year is this.
I’m really hungry when I get home, I want to eat breakfast. My mother says to go to the apartment upstairs, where my brother, who’s also Magnus from Dark, is hoarding and selling cereal and other breakfast items. My father comes along and tries to sneak out a bag of chocolate cookies.
That Is What It Means Tho
I dream that I’m coming back home after school, on the stairs I meet two smiling Brazilian women carrying coffee. They give me a cup for free, it’s piping hot and I spill most of it, but it’s sweet and delicious.
At home I tell my mother there are two women opening a coffee shop on the second floor of our building, she’s very suspicious because she’s a coffee snob but I’m excited about living in such a cosmopolitan place where you can go shopping inside your own building, it’s very Hong Kong. I try to go to the coffee shop but end up in a nightclub on the third floor. The music is deafening and nobody is social distancing properly.
I steal a poisonous orange from my sister because I hate her and toss it in the park. I feel immediately bad because I’m afraid a dog will eat it.
And old lady with a handsome, intelligent face brings the orange back. She passes it to me over the fence and now it’s a piece of paper with a bird drawing on it. I put it back in my diary. She admires my art and tells me she likes birds so much she became an ornithologist. I tell her I also like birds very much. She gets angry and says,
That’s not what ornithology means!
I’m so ashamed I wake up.
Performance Anxiety
I dream that I’m at work and I’m told I’ll have to take a quiz on Monday to proven how much I’ve learned and my worth as an employee. I legit think, “This is gonna give me nightmares”.
I go back home in a bad mood. It’s raining, as usual, and yet there’s a farmer market along the street. I can’t find my building’s entrance (“Just like in my nightmares”, I think), I can’t see her but my mother is mocking me from the balcony, calling me stupid.
Yes I’ve Been Watching Hamilton
There is a white Bull Terrier living in my building, and I dream that the owner asks me to walk her around the parking lot. I’m excited because I love that dog, I take a lot of pictures as a butterfly lands on her big noggin. More neighbors arrive with their dogs, we get into an argument, I’m filming the man yelling at me so twitter can doxx him.

Then I dream that I’m home with my cousin, she’s upset because she realized everyone hates her. It’s because she’s such a bully, I tell her. Boss Lady is there too, scowling at my mother’s very bitter coffee. There’s also a previously unseen Boss Man, he’s quizzing me on American Founding Fathers. He gives me a book about Aaron Burr.
Like A Greek Tragedy I Guess
I dream that I’m walking in the parking lot outside my building. From a window I hear a woman crying and screaming,
I’m a good mother! I’m not always angry, I’m just tired! I feel like Orestes, painted on a plate.
My friend C. is at my house. So are my nasty relatives. My old uncle G. is dead.
Landlords Are Generally Evil
I’m looked in the bathroom and I have a toddler and a baby with me, they’re brothers. The older one is two and his name is William, he has pooped on his brother’s face and his diaper has flown out the window, so I’m scrambling to get them both cleaned. I end up having to call my mother for help, she’s very surprised at how I seem to have acquired two children. We carry them to my bedroom and there are two birds trapped inside, flapping around madly, a pigeon and a seagull.
I need a bottle of frozen water, there is a vending machine on the street outside my house but it isn’t working. I go look for a freezer in my basement but I get lost, my cat is with me and we run when we see the landlord is chasing us. I hide in an apartment that looks like it’s been the set of a psychological thriller. Then I finally reach home and run inside my room, I put headphones on and hit play on a discman just as the landlord walks in. I’m now a teen boy with curly hair, the landlord takes me under his wing and becomes the father figure I never had.
There’s a tweet trending, it’s an old Russian farmer complaining about her land owner. She films a video where the land owner is seen on a tractor destroying her fields and cackling like a villain. I’m very confused because the video is stop motion and obviously fake, but nobody else on Twitter seems to notice.
New Neighbors
IRL I live inside one of two twin buildings standing next to each other. In my dream I walk to the other building and ring a doorbell. I’m welcomed in an apartment that is structured exactly like mine, to the point it’s creepy; two women just moved in, mother and daughter, and the place looks pretty rough, there are holes in the walls. The mother tells me they can’t contact the administrator, they must have the wrong number, but even if they could, she can’t afford any repairs.
I stop to look at a framed picture on the wall, a little girl in a yellow raincoat that could easily be me. I decide to call my dad for help, and he’s already at the door, smiling a big, reassuring smile. He calls the administrator and sort things out so that the women won’t have to pay a cent. I tell them they’re welcome to visit us any time, but they say there is no twin building outside: puzzled, I look out the window and see that we are behind Downton Abbey’s castle. I look around for my building and finally spot it on the horizon, it’s been painted bright red.
Good and Not So Good Encounters
I bump into a car in the parking lot, the driver is one of my most unpleasant neighbors. She yells at me, threatens to sue me. I notice her car is full of plastic bags, they are in the front and back seats. The bags are see-through and they’re clearly full of garbage: now I also get mad and accuse her of never recycling.
I get inside my building, and it’s a maze again. I try to find the right door, but end up in a pediatric clinic. The doctor inside is THE Doctor, Jodie Whittaker herself wearing a white robe. She and the nurses start searching for my home, or possibly for the new season of the show.
