Travel Nostalgia?

I dream that dad wakes up my siblings and I in the middle of the night. It’s Christmas, he says, and we’re gonna travel with our magical house. I look out of the window and everything is perfectly still. It only looks like we’re still, dad explains, because we’re traveling through a different dimension. Mom is asleep, she wakes up just in time as we land on a sunny beach. My cat, who never saw a beach, jumps out the balcony to play in the sand.

Solutions For Real Life Worries Are So Easy At Night

I dream that I’m back at work, and both Boss Lady and my cousin are already pissed at me for being slow and overwhelmed. My anxiety rise and rise right to the point I decide to quit, and then a beautiful sense of calm and peace takes over me. Boss Lady is furious. You’re throwing away your life, she says. Look at me, I own a house!

And I saw a beautiful sunset yesterday, I say with a big smile, knowing that there’s something better than money out there. I get up and leave.

Then I dream that I’m going to see a vet about my cat’s gastritis. I travel to a beautiful countryside building that is some sort of university. The doctor is a middle aged woman with short auburn hair, I give her a surprisingly accurate recap of my cat’s issues, she gives me “pills” that look like bulbous roots.

Maternity Wish

I dream that I’m taking care of a cousin’s kid, it’s a baby with blue eyes and a blonde tuft, she’s beautiful and she can already babble even though she’s so small. After a while she starts crying for her mom, and I’m heartbroken because I don’t want to give her up.

I go get food for her, the supermarket is just one room and it’s got a bed in the middle, it looks like my mom’s bedroom. Then suddenly I’m on the beach and embarrassed because I’m in my underwear and didn’t shave. My cat is there, she’s running and crashing into the waves with no fear whatsoever.

Killing Someone In A Dream Makes Their Life Longer!

I dream that my pen pal C. is here to visit once again, and there’s a little girl with her, possibly her niece. They are staying in the neighborhood, picking tomatos. I hope to convince her to stay for a few more days, but when I get there she’s got a strange expression. I ask what happened.

“My dad died. Without me, they forgot to buy his heart pills.’

I hug her tight. I ask what she needs; she wants peanuts, the little girl wants juice. I say I’ll be right back, I have super speed after all!

I run home and feel like I’m going so slow, but I know they’ll add the super speed Quicksilver effect in post production, so it should be fine. I tell the news to my parents: my mom volunteers to go back with C. to her family, which I find both sweet and impractical.

I open a trail mix bag and painstakingly pick each peanut. The results is a very small bowl, but it’ll had to do. As I go back I notice my cat is escaping from the front door, I pick her up and toss her inside our car. It feels cruel but I don’t have time to waste!

When I get back to C. it’s getting dark and there’s a priest blessing her door. The atmosphere in the neighborhood is somber. C. takes my arm in hers and smiles a teary smile when I tell her what my mom has volunteered to do. She reminds me she won’t have many college classes in January (she’s 40 IRL) and it’s her birthday on the 10th (not her birthday IRL). The implicaron it’s that she wants to spend it with me. It makes my heart soar.

(Other dreams included: my sister streaming my computer, the Sims having a massive update, a neighbor teaching me calligraphy). I’m

It’s Kitten Season After All

I dream that my sister and I find a wicker basket on the sidewalk, inside there are a mama cat with three kittens, one ginger, one tabby and one black; they are really small, no older than a few days, but their eyes are open. Each of the kittens is stuffed inside a doll pillow case with some plushies, as if a little girl has left them there.

I suggest we take them to the nearest vet, my sister decides we should take them home with us instead. She grabs Mama and one of the kittens, I grab the other two. The ginger one slips and falls from my hand, my sister steps on it. The kitten flattens on the pavement like a sole fish, but it’s incredibly unharmed. Our nosy neighbor asks what we are carrying, my sister tells her to “mind her own damn business”.

We get home and my parents are utterly unhappy.

Anyways, Animal Rights

I dream that there’s a small cage next to a newspaper kiosk. Inside the cage there are four animals pressed together, including a cat and an owl. I can’t forget the owl face, it’s looking around with big eyes, lost and unhappy. Kiosk lady is telling everyone how her family has been

I Have All These Details That Make Zero Sense When Put Together

I dream that my siblings are going to spend the night at a big villa belonging to Gran (I’m sure I dreamed about that place some other time?) while Gran spends the night in my room. She’s really tired, so I bring her a glass of water and some sort of tomato pie. Then I steal my brother’s comics. I have a bunch of kittens, and one of them is actually a child contended between two Star Trek crews; they are tiny crews that live on the two levels of a toy starship.
