I’ve Never Seen That Movie And Only Vaguely Know The Plot

I dream that I’m watching Rango, the movie with the cartoon chameleon, and also moving the character like in a videogame. Rango applies for a job as the town teacher, he’s quite incompetent at first and lets the children play paintball completely ruining the local market. He eventually figures things out, gets married and becomes mayor.

During a stormy night he’s about to leave with his wife to see a Ferrari car show. (What year is this movie supposed to be set in anyway?) The village witch appears at their door carrying a half drowned woman: it’s Tina Fey and she has an old timey camera in her hands. Mr and Mrs Rango decide to skip the car show to help her.

I Guess Because The Leaves Simmered In Her Blood?

I dream that there’s a group of ghosts and demons haunting us. Everyone else is scared but I find them sweet. I show one of them, a blonde girl with a pompadour, the creek where she drowned; next to it there’s a white aromatic flower.

And that’s why your name is Tea.

Eventually half my face gets covered in elaborate, black and golden tattoos. That means I’m turning into a ghost too.

Bathroom Adventures

I dream that I badly need a shower but can never find the bathroom unoccupied, right now there’s Captain America sitting on the toilet. Not pooping, just sitting.

I finally find a giant bathroom with glass doors, after I go inside guards arrive to lock the doors with heavy chains. The bathroom starts slowing filling with water. I notice there are other people hiding inside, one of them is Keanu Reeves. As we are all about to drown I spot a small hole in the ceiling and swim through it, followed by the other prisoners.

Outside we are greeted by heavy armed guards. I grab a red car and wave it in the air (I suppose I’m really strong in this dream?). The guards laugh in my face but they haven’t noticed the angry bull behind them. Entranced by the red car, the bull launches on the bad guys and mauls them. On the side, Keanu Reeves has efficiently killed some guards on his own.

Dreary Neverland

(I forgot to post my notes yesterday but here’s April 25th entry)

I’m watching Steven Universe, now it’s a Disney Peter Pan sequel, it has beautiful songs. Peter has a new origin story, he was a Greek child who drowned thousands of years ago, and the Powers that Be want to drown every lost boy on the island to make them go home.

The oldest boy, who’s a world-hardened rebel, locks himself up in a shed. Emma Pillsbury is also there, she tries to talk him out if it, but he grabs a rusty saw and cuts off his fingers, one by one. Then his whole hand, then the other. I have to look away. Ms. Pillsbury grabs Fairy Grandmother’s wand and magics the two of them out.

The boy without hands learns that he’s been on Neverland for centuries and his family is gone by now. He is transported back to London, to a dreary little funeral in a dark day. Only a little girl notices him standing between the tombstones. He can see all the ghosts and cuddles with them.

I’m on the balcony and I notice my cat inside another building. I call her and she jumps out of a window, bounces on the ground like a rubber ball and with a supernatural jump lands in my arms.

I run to my mother to tell her, she’s not impressed. We go out, I walk in the middle of the road because I’m afraid of dogs barking from behind their gates. We reach a street market that only sells food because everything else is forbidden during lockdown, I see an old lady that from behind looks exactly like my late Grandma G.: I touch her shoulder, she turns around and she has a big nose and pointy yellow teeth.

Half-drowned

I look down from the living room window, the tarmac outside is wet and muddy, looks like a scene after a big flood. There are dozens of little creatures on the ground; some look dead, some fish are floundering wildly, out of oxygen. As I watch it starts raining, and one by one the little animals wake up and scutter away, including the ones I thought were dead, alongside the fish I see turtles, frogs, even an axolotl with its big smile. The last thing I see is a cat running away with a little mouse on its back.
