I dream that I’m celebrating with friends, maybe during spring break? We’re on a rooftop, almost naked, dancing ecstatically, our skin covered in colorful paint, and we’re waving glow sticks. All the while I’m thinking I’m so glad we’re not living through a pandemic and we can do this.

A Time Loop, Kinda
I dream that I’m watching a TV show / possibly living it. It’s about three friends, the main character is played by Melanie Scrofano. They are at a party and it’s late, one of the friends goes to the bathroom and then calls her dad to come pick her up. Little does she know, her dad will drive to the party, he’ll never meet her mom, and she’ll never be born.
(No, they are not time travellers. This made perfect sense in my dream.)
With one of the friends erased from existence, she is replaced by another girl, Asian, who has four legs so she looks a bit like a centaur. They live their lives for a while and then the party happens again. The four legged girl goes to the party, then calls her dad… I start shivering, but it’s inevitable. It will happen again and again and again.
Social Gatherings Make Me Anxious
(So many details that I wanted to remember and promptly forgot while still half asleep.)
My sister is studying for her finals. She’s mad at me for getting in the room to look for my backpack.
(Are we teens again, or is this now?)
Rescuing a hen with a broken wing.
(Since when do we live in the countryside?)
I don’t want to go to the school dance. The theme is wild west and I do have quite a nice jacket to wear, but I hate parties and I won’t go.
Gran is disappointed, she really wanted to come with. She looks so young and healthy, her hair is black instead of white.
I feel guilty.
Starts Very Typical, Goes a Tad Weird
I dream that I’m walking to school and it’s raining. I stop to buy some ham. If the dream wasn’t recurring enough, there are two identical supermarkets in the same town area. All I’m worried about is my ham melting because it’s too hot outside.
I come across a Christmas parade, I’m upset and I tell them it’s July! They accuse me of lacking Christmas spirit. I say,
I do have Christmas spirit. In December!
I walk past a crepes stand. My cousin takes me to a huge party in a nearby house, it’s too damn loud and I immediately nope out of it. Cousin is upset.
I go back home and watch a Doctor Who episode with my mom, who is apparently a Michelle Gomez fan. Then we watch Derry Girls, it’s an episode where they ice skate like their idol, Tonya Harding. A little boy falls in love with James and is stalking him.
