It’s All About My Father’s Disapproval, Really

I dream that I’m walking out of a physiotherapist clinic, it’s dark outside and raining. My mom and dad are sitting in their car waiting for me, but when I approach they drive away in a rush, leaving me hanging. I’m incredibly upset about this. Another car stops by, it’s small, green and ancient. A group of relatives are sitting inside (a second cousin with her mother, mother-in-law and young son). They offer to drive me home, but I refuse: I’d rather stand here in the rain and make my parents feel guilty.

I dream that I’m hanging out with some friends. All we do is sit on some chairs in a giant room (sports hall?), sleep in the afternoons and eat fruit at night. It’s all very chill and nice. My dad is also sitting somewhere in the room, and looking at us disappointed.

I Need To Buy A Tripod And Work On My Exposure

I dream that I’m on a cruise ship with my parents and sister, my first order of business: to locate a stationary store. We disembark for a little tour, I’m running late because I still have to tie up my shoelaces. I take a picture of a little frog, then of a rock with a hole on top, the sun shining through, then of my dad posing in front of some pretty doors. They are all too dark.

I Don’t Remember A Thing About This Dream Except The Clown Phone, We Can Only Hope My Notes Are Right

I dream that everyone I ever worked with through the years is in my house. A former boss is looking for a phone, I only have a novelty landline shaped like a clown.

We sit for lunch and my parents start fighting, everyone is looking at me with pity, like suddenly they understand why I have issues. I try to talk to them but my sister is having another tantrum and nobody can hear me. There are glass shards on the floor and I start sweeping them. My dead grandpa is there.

In the evening I go to see a show. My cousin is sitting at the ticket booth, she tells me an inside joke, her manager is upset. Inside the theater a 40s movie is playing starring Miley Cyrus. Next to me is sitting the movie’s director, he tries to touch me inappropriately. I get up and go sit with my cousin, he’s very upset.

Eventful Holiday

I dream that I’m interning at a tobacco store but nobody seems to pay attention to me. The next day is a holiday, I’m at the beach wearing a bikini, with my feet in the water. My parents come pick me up, there are four starving kids on the beach and my mom buys them ice cream pops. I go home and up some stairs, hiding inside an incredibly tiny outdoor toilet. I place an old TV (the kind with antennas and a big butt) on the toilet seat, sit on the floor in front of it and proceed to watch Glee as I eat my lunch.

I Want To Go Back

I’m at Venice’s train station, trying to get back home. According to the board there is one super fast train that goes straight to my town, it belongs to the church and one ticket it 380 bucks. I cannot afford it. As the train is about to leave the price suddenly drops to 160, and I still can’t afford it.

I wait for a slower, cheaper train, and finally I’m back home and can hug my parents. I have an electric fan going in my room even though it’s only march, and my underwear drawer is empty because my cousin stole them all. I tell her I want to go back to work even amid the outbreak.

Boss Lady calls me, says I can come back as long as I take a shower before going home from the store. I download a shower from the Sims game, the outdoor kind that uses bottled water. It’s so small I can carry it in the palm of my hand, Boss Lady is fascinated by it.
